Usually a PhD is something you want to do when you are very sure you like to delve deep into one single focus area and super specialize in that area, whereas a second masters program could still be broader in focus. Keeping that in mind you should choose the options. P.S which area are you looking at btw and what are your goals?

A Correction just so that prospective students know , ma'am mentioned that RWTH AACHEN and Technical University Munich require a GATE score, adding to that, you can alternatively take a GRE test instead. meaning if you have a GRE score then , no need of GATE examination. Any One of the 2 will do . Regards.

Hi, Great videos! Got a lot of info from both the parts. I'm currently working in VLSI - Physical Design domain, in the latest technology. I've completed my bachelor's. The plan is to pursue my masters and ultimately settle abroad. And I just have three questions... 1. Could you please suggest me the universities which have subjects specific to/closely related to VLSI - Physical design? 2. Can I get part-time jobs (i,e TA/RA/internships) based on my experience anywhere, and can I get started with it from the 1st sem itself? 3. What are the chances for me getting a scholarship? and what type?
