im so proud of travis, we've really seen him go through all the stages of making d&d pcs from the "Idk How To Play This Game So I'm Just Gonna Make A Guy Who Likes Killing Things" phase (grog), to the "I Now Know How To Play This Game So I'm Gonna Make A Guy Who's Got A Deep Backstory For The Plot" phase (fjord), and now he has landed in what i like to call the Silly Character phase. we all end up in the silly character phase (and i think macaroni samsonite was the first time he realised he could just go fucking wild with it in a regular ol' d&d setting), but i must say that an old-ass tiny werewolf who wants to fuck a fey being twice his size is truly up there with the greats.

I love how in the previous campaigns they slowly worked into being the super flirtatious character, from grog/pike not being romantically involved with anyone, to fjord/yasha being good relationship partners and super sweet individually, to FUCKING Chetney/Fearne.. the most outwardly sexual (even if playfully between characters), the change is amazing to see

You think that the position of the moon in the sky is random? Try this, go out when the moon is visible at 1-hour intervals and plot the position of the moon. You might find that it makes a regular pattern. If you do that enough nights in a row you might learn something.

And inasmuch as the date has to do with the position of the Earth relative to the sun (you are just going to have to believe me on this), the phase of the moon does as well. 2. Are you ignoring that Chetney is a werewolf? That maybe, just maybe, cause him to be invested in the phase, rise, and set of the moon if werewolves in Exandria are like Earth fantasy werewolves.

@@FinnMcRiangabra why are you talking like you’re so high and mighty? I saw something funny, and had a funny response to it. I just wanted to get my thoughts out there. Yes, I know you can tell time with the moon. No, I don’t think a werewolf would be able to do that solely because they’re a werewolf. If you had a sextant and a good understanding of math, you would absolutely be able to tell the time based on the phase of the moon alone(unless it’s not in the sky). Turn the moon, sun, and earth(or in this case, exandria) into a triangle. Measure the angle of the moon to the ground, and then use math to accurately deduce the angle of the sun to the moon using what phase the moon is in. This gives you 2/3 angles of the celestial triangle we’re making here, so you only need to do basic subtraction from there to figure out the final angle of the sun to the earth. Assuming you know where you are on the planet, and where the moon is in the sky, this should tell you which half of the planet is being lit by sunlight, and then by proxy, how long it would take your location to reach the sunlight. If you can’t do that bit, turn the earth into a circle, where half is lit by the sun and half is not. Bisect the earth with a line originating from the sun, and then cut the earth into 24 even pieces(assuming there are 24 hour day/night cycles on exandria), and figure out which 1/24th of the earth you are on. That will tell you the time. It’s not complicated math, no. But in Chetney’s state, where he was tired, wounded, in a state of pre nut confusion, and likely general mania, he would not have done all of that math in the short amount of time it took him to decide to just go downstairs and ask for a wake up call.
