Like so many of you who have said in these comments below that this song had just came to you or you woke up with this song in ur head it happened to me. I know that of course it is not an accident. God uses the hymns of our faith (If we are TAUGHT THEM) to reach us just like he uses scripture memory verses. Please if you are reading this and you are a Pastor or Teacher or Leader or Dad or Mom or Grandparent or Church Member or whoever please help the younger remember these hymns of our faith. Make a playlist of the great hymns of our faith on here and have them playing in ur home or car for example. Play them in the background or use them in worship more or teach them the story behind the songs to help them remember these hymns. Make if fun. It doesn't have to be boring. They pull us thru so many hard times and we just do not pass them on like we should. There are so many different ways these songs have been recorded to appeal to any music listening preference. As long as we are getting the actual hymn in the minds of our up and coming Christians the stronger they will be in battle because there IS a BATTLE that we have never seen the likes of coming OUR WAY. However God used lines in hymns and brought them to mind when He wanted to speak to me . I'll always be grateful for that method of communication. All because I knew all the old hymns so well. Thank you 🥰 I’m a mum and I think the same too. I put Christian music at home all the time for my kids, to have in the background and for my surprise from time to time while they play I hear them humming along. I pray the Lord will give them strength in time of need through these songs as I felt He has encouraged me through all the songs I’ve learned in my childhood. Great is thy faithfulness of God, my Father. May our Heavenly Father blesses us all and make us strong in the faith by the grace given by His precious Son and our Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory for ever and ever… Amen 🙏🏻

All one day, I had been singing this song, aloud as I drove to the stores for my errands and softly, yo myself, as I shopped. As I stood in a long line at the grocery, humming softly, a little girl in front ofme turned and smiled shyly. I smiled back, waving my hand. She turned to bury her face in her mother's clothing. I closed my eyes, finding myself lost in the song and picturing that numberless chorus at the Throne, singing this immortal hymn. I nearly burst into song, but managed to control that urge, tears pouring down my face. The little girl had moved toward me, smiling again. I smiled at her through my tears. "Mama," she said, pulling on her mother's arm. "Does Jesus come to Aldi?" I was surprised by her question, which drew only a puzzled look from her mother. To this day, I wonder...just what did she see when she looked at me, lost in the Heavenly words of this song?
