Last night, it seemed like chevelle's sound was two high-pitched with no bass

I felt okay bass where I was, I was in the suites. As for the high pitch, singers often use high-pass mics to avoid feedback and sounding too loud. It creates an auditory illusion where the singer sounds higher pitched than usual. I often observe this when I’m directly in front of the band.
