I had 35s on a non lifted 85 k5. Just had to trim the front fenders. only rubbed on turns and on flexing. Put a 4in lift and no more rubbing.

@@caleb2187 Wikipedia says these things came with an Eaton Automatic Differential Locker, sometimes referred to as a Gov-Lok. It locks up when it detects wheel slip. The M1008s had a Detroit Locker which I believe the rest state for that is locked and it unlocks when you are trying to turn. So... according to wiki the M1009s came with a rear locker.

EL MACHO GRANDE Might be a Mercedes OM647 that came from the factory. Everywhere else in the world gets the diesels while here in the states, we get screwed over, or swap one in XD damn EPA.

@1994dodgeram Der soll in der Hinterachse eine "limited slip differential" Sperre haben, ob die bei meim noch Funktioniert glaub ich nicht. Nachrüsten kann man, wenn du was gutes haben willst (ARB + Kompressor) biste schnell bei 2t € für beide Achsen... MfG

Year is 7.1984 an about 87000 miles. Yes 6.2 l Diesel The only problem with the car are the u-joints...

I see you got a lot of videos so I'm curious how good K5 is in comparison with other 4x4s? I have Jeep like this in video with 2 inch lift, bigger tires and Quadra-Drive and it's great off road wehicle but looks like some crappy 4x4 beside K5.

hallo, dein 1009 ist echt 1A ich habe paar fragen: welcher lack ist das und wo bekommt man den, weil sieht sehr gut aus, genau der richtige farbton. welche auspuffanlage ist das oder was wurde gemacht weil sound ist so wie ich es mir vorstelle ist das, das erste tarnmuster oder das neuere, lohnt es sich selbst zu lacken oder sollte man das machen lassen nach muster? und was nimmt ne lackiererei ca.? wäre eine grosse entscheidungshilfe, da ich meinen 1009 grad aufbaue.

M1009 i believe has limited slip. M1008 has rear lockers m1028 i belive has front limited slip and rear locker
