The updates are fantastic! I love the new continuous LED daytime running lights, LED headlights and the new tail lamps. Although it's only dual exhaust vs quad exhaust, I'll give up a pair of exhaust pipes for a new look.

The flowtie is for airflow. It’s not just an emblem. There’s a hole there. I don’t care what anyone says. I bought one and I think it’s sweet. Hell yeah! Just picked up my 2019 1SS. About a week ago. The 2SS interior is dope af, but couldn’t justify an extra 5 grand or so. I’ll just get SS seat covers lol. Proud to be a “ “Camaro douche”. Got a six speed and I love it. I love my SS. This car is the greatest driving experience ever, especially at its price point. And by the way, awesome review 👍👍👍

RAN D naw, i got the quad exhaust as a standard upgrade for the 6 speed. I absolutely love it. My plans so far include blue or black powder coating for my wheels, smoked side markers, front and back, a blue SS emblem instead of the red on the grill, and after warranty is up, a cold air intake. With my FR-S, I got crazy and screwed too much with reliability. Not this time. SS is so beast

I’ve owned my SS for nearly a month now and it’s a dream. Other than the extremely beefy A pillar which for me causes a decent sized blind spot, I suffer no other visibility issues with the car at all. But I guess that all is just dependent upon the individual.

Oh by the way, I’m coming from an FR-S. I supercharged it long ago and also tuned it and set it up to consume flex fuel. Plus it had anything and everything to make it a neck breaking beast and a track monster. My FR-S which I loved dearly can’t even compare to my mammoth of an SS. I’m in love🥰

I have a 2018 2SS and I love it. FTR, the 0-60 time on the 18 is 3.9 and 4.1 on the 19. I have the 8 speed auto in mine and it performs quite well. Wouldn't trade it for anything else. The 19 model is awesome too tho. Keep the CAMARO alive GM!!!

Far better than the early Camaro’s but all these new pony cars seem so big and heavy feeling. Like a tiny back seat design version of a full-size car. I’m a life long GM guy but I honestly prefer the current Mustang because it has a a lighter smaller look and feel.

This model is now 4 model years old. The nameplate came back in 2010, but the 6th gen is an entirely different chassis and components.

2017 2ss, It's an amazing car, there is a slight difference in quarter mile times between that and the 19 .2 seconds because of the transmission difference. The 19 has the silverado's 10 speed automatic while the 17 and 18 have an 8 speed. It's not to difficult to find one with low miles on car gurus, and if you end up wanting more power for any reason the money you save on the initial buy can be put towards any upgrades you might want.

Why do reviewers always perform a stupid rear seat test on the driver's side? Why not on the passenger side where a front passenger can sacrifice more and move the sear forward to see if a third party can realistically sit in the rear on that side?

BrianKaren Eddy and Anthony, The beginning of the year may be a bad time to buy the latest version of the model but deals can be found, it just may not be in your immediate area. Go on autotrader. Look for your 2019 Camaro SS. Under search type in 2ss although some 2ss's may not come up. You'll see a listing of new Cameros 2SS and some will be discounted. The MSRP should be listed and next to that is the discounted price. I found a 2SS at Puente Chevrolet, just now, MSRP $46,100. Discounted to $39,600 in black. That's 16% of MSRP! Typically you can negotiate a little lower but not much since it's already a great deal and it's January. You can bring that price to a local dealership and ask to match or beat. Say your going to get it from them. If they don't deal then move on. You may find one that will match or beat. Don't show the advertisement unless they ask. BTW go to a dealership that sells lots of Cameros. For example If you go a Chevy dealership near lost of agriculture, you will not get a good deal. They probably only have 1 or 2 on stock. Go to a Chevy Dealership in a busy city. Although LA has tons of Dealerships i had to go to St Louis for the awesome deal that i got and the car i wanted. Good Luck! let me know what happens.

Even if they did discontinue the Camaro, which is unlikely, you will always have people who know how to work on a car, parts will always be available through GM or a licensed manufacturer. It's a Chevy! It's not a McLaren, Ferrari or Tesla where parts are almost impossible to get. And expensive too! I wouldn't let the news discourage you from getting one. It's an amazing car!

The mustang excels in everythig except! Track, thr camaro definitely takes the cake on that, i just wish chevy would take not and. Make the camaro more practical (better to see out of and bigger trunk and rear seats) while retaining track performance if they do that they will beat the other two in sales unfortunately ppl rather practicality over performance, the performance and that beautiful 6.2 litter engine is what made me consider the camaro but couldnt do the practicality. This new 2019 is as ugly as the 2018 and up mustangs so its not gonna do much to help sales. I just really really hope chevy start going to work on this car i dont want it being gone, theres always 2020 i wouldnt mind having two muscle cars in my garage

The Camaro is not a light car, therefore I believe a V8 engine works better for a heavier car like the Camaro rather than a V6. I did some research and it looks like you're not paying much more for a 2016 v8 vs V6. Maybe consider getting a certified (CPO) Camaro. You just never know what the owner did to the car before you. This car is a really good everyday car since it doesn't sit too low and the power will be always there if you need it. Seats are super comfortable and buttons and levers are at your fingertips. One warning- You may lose friends if you have them sit in the back seat.😂 all your friends are going to be jealous!

Don’t do it man, the SS isn’t the best daily driver, I had a 16 for two years, eventually I missed the comfort and visibility of a sedan. I recommend a challenger or even a 5.0 mustang for daily driving, they’re more comfortable, and the visibility is greater, you’ll appreciate it in the long run.

The Camaro is a fun and awesome car but in my opinion if you could afford, get the SS LT4 V8. It's a tride and true engine, strong and bullet proof. The Camaro isn't light. You're only asking for problems with a 4 turbo. That engine will be working so hard. The V6 would be my second choice. It's found in the Impala and Cadillacs. Watch my Z06 video. I haven't had any problems with my Z06 (same engine) and i have 20k miles. Oh i had clutch issues that they fixed (did a video) but other than that the car and LT4 engine is awesome! Hope this helps! My opinion on the 4 cylinder turbo engines is that they eat just as much gas as a larger engines going average speeds and accelerations. you need to drive like grandma to get those mpgs they post. I actually got 21 city and 27 highway on the cruze i reviewed. Frank, Look at it this way the SS V8 has cylinder shut off so it runs on 4 cylinders on the highway under consistent throttle. 😀 You're getting a V4 in a V8. How perfect is that!

Doesn't matter if you have 200 more hp when you're a boat and you can't put the power to the ground. 1/4 mile and roll race would be a complete different story though. The 2019 SS's should have the 10 speed advantage vs the 8 speeds from the previous models in the automatics.

Hi Jaylan. It automatically does that when you film it. LED lights HID lights, normally transmit light by blinking really fast and the camera is able to capture it. The common Eye cannot see it.

Same here but if you look at the exterior thoroughly, it kind of reminds me of the 2nd generation Camaro from 1971 (mainly due to the front grill widely opened, as well as the taillights) Later on, this design will grow on to me tbh.

IT is angles downward do that the sunlight doesn't reflect of it and hit your eyes. I am pretty sure while driving this car the sun has not hit you with the Monitor.

I would assume that all bumpers are black. Mosaic black may be too costly to paint bumpers for all Camaros since it has metallic. But the Chevrolet parts department would know.

Understood, although I did try to wax and wash it out, it went through the clear coat. I couldn't get it out and it's just something I had to work with. I was all my cars before i video.
