Just make sure it does not have the data harvesting center stack like the Blazer EV that ditched AA and car play. They already got caught selling driver habits to third party which handed that data over to insurance companies. You guessed it, premiums blew up.

I'm currently not looking for a car but was shocked at the price of the Traxx. Finally an affordable car. Not everyone wants to spend 40 or 50k for a work commuter. Nice job Chevy. Didn't know they were such a good deal for the money.

Don't be disappointed if the Blazer EV setlles into fewer sales than the Bolt. It's much more expensive even after price cuts and the midsize crossover is the most saturated part of the EV market where the Bolt had a niche to itself.

You should do a video of the Colorado with some people looking to either downsize from full size or buy a truck that isn't as pricey as a Silverado. Show people what they would be giving up in terms of size, storage, features, and leg room in the back seats.

I’d like to see plugin hybrids. We’ve had our Volt since Oct 2016 and drive it mostly on electric. We also have a 2019 Bolt and the combo of the two is perfect for us. I’d like to see an EV Trax.

@@Livingthedream157 A) they are not too expensive. There are several options that have starting prices below 40k before tax incentives. B) they are not expensive to insure. I have two cars. A Mach E & a Mazda 3. The Mazda is 10 years old & is more expensive to insure than the Mach E and C) EV sales are actually up 46% year over year. This is something that had been stated over & over unless you only listen to one sided news.

Hey Dave, do you have any information on when the refreshed 2025 Tahoe’s may be opening for custom ordering. My mom is dead set on getting one and we want to have her be one of the first to place her orders because we want to try and have it by the end of the year. I read online it’s expected to go on sale around that time with orders starting middle of the year. However, we are getting close to mid year in June so I was wondering if it’s opening any time soon so we can jump on getting one built.

That Blazer EV looks great, thanks for the highlights! Can't wait to see your review of the Equinox EV when you get them in as well as your Silverado EV when it arrives! My local dealer has 4 Equinox EV's in transit and they're hoping they'll show up in the next 3-4 weeks. I think 2 are spoken for. I'm anxious to see if GM is serious about bringing PHEV's back because they really are the best of both worlds and I wish they hadn't given up on them so soon. I love what I see with the Blazer EV and Equinox EV, but I'm not 100% sure if I'm ready to give up the PHEV drivetrain in my beloved Volt, especially since we just swapped my wife's Volt for a Bolt EUV so we'd have no gas backup at all then.

can find personal info from someone’s license plate if you know where to look, also especially with pictures online Someone could be searching marketplace for your exact make/model car because they have one very similar , take the picture of your plate, print the pic life-size, laminate it, and use it as their own plate which is obviously something you’d want to avoid

People that cover the license plate have never made sense to me. You do realize anyone in public can see the license plate. There’s no expectation of privacy on a license plate and you can’t get any personal information from a license plate.

The new EV's will not have apple carplay but are an android based system with 3 years of data included so the owner can just download the apps they like to the screen and their phone will still connect for bluetooth calls and music streaming.

And neither should anyone else. They already got caught selling that and are in class action because many got their insurance premiums hiked up. Because that's who paid for the driving data (insurance). Mary will do anything to make a buck to this hedge fund driven company. She works for stockholders NOT the ones that buy GM cars and trucks. The problem was so severe they ordered a stop sell of the blazer EV on DEC 22. Are you going to say you didn't know about that? You got a strong brew of koolaid dave.

Just a warning. The Blazer EV axed car play and android auto. Instead GM uses their own software integration and will collect all your data and send back to GM. Currently they are in class action lawsuit for selling driver habits to third party companies that turned that information over to insurance companies. Many people saw their premiums skyrocket with this. It was layered deep in the fine print and took many buyers off guard. Initially the Blazer EV had horrible SW glitches. Not sure if GM fixed those issues yet. Consumers need to overwhelmingly reject this and send a message to scary Mary and friends. GM is nothing but a hedge fund driven company. They don't give two shits about you or your privacy. They will sell that info at a drop of the hat and have. If you don't care about your rates going up then consider the possible ramifications of warranty repairs being denied. With this kind of SW integration to the oem there are countless scenarios where the customer can be put at a disadvantage to the oem.

Depends on the car. If you are buying a Tesla Plaid you are not buying it for savings... If you bought a Bolt EUV you saved a bunch plus currently about a 3rd the price of gas to charge at home.

And public infrastructure is half baked at this point with half the chargers not even working. Its a mess. Insurance is much higher because repair costs are insanely high. Also Li-on batteries add allot of weight to vehicle. Think new tires twice as often. And the amount of C02 put out to make the battery pack means you have to drive it 36K miles before you have any gain to the environment. Hybrid is the answer in the interim. EV is a gimmick that the current administration bought into hook line and sinker and the oems are all scrambling trying to figure out how to make it work. Now Ford is shutting their EV plants down and backpedaling to hybrid. Toyota knew all along and their profit margins show that.
