Chevron Techron Complete Fuel System Cleaner Fuel Additive Review

New SUV, after 30k miles I noticed my average fuel consumption went from 29.6 mpg to 27.2. After a little research, the recommended cleaner was for fuel injection system. Used the injection cleaner with 15 gallons. @ 35k I used the fuel system cleaner. Bye 33,600 I noticed my average was back up to 29.1mpg Now every 10k miles, I use the fuel system cleaner and my average has remained @ 29.4 mpg. Small investment for a vehicle I intend to keep for a long time.

I had an issue with a sticky injector in my 1999 F150 with 217,000 miles on it & felt like it was missing but it wasn't the coil block.. Since I've used Chevron Techron Complete Fuel System Cleaner in combination with using High octane fuel, it has corrected. Did two fill ups with Chevron Techron, it does work. I also use Marvel Mystery Oil. It all depends on a few factors with these types of products, carbon build up, dirt with cheap fuel & how serve the carbon in the engine & fuel system is. The injectors may have to be pulled & cleaned or replaced. so far my treatment is working.

i been trying all sorts of fuel cleaners lately maybe i havent really experienced any fuel issues related issues since my car does have low mileage and isnt that old but i am glad it works for you and keep me updated if you try other products i am always looking for new things out on the market.

If its missing or miss-firing, rough idle check out the coils or have the fuel injectors pulled & cleaned, you can also check the injectors to see if they are working properly with a ohm meter. Check out air mass flow sensor. Check all air intakes specially the air filter. What else you may look into is Marvel Mystery Oil in your gasoline. Follow the instructions in how much to use, ounces per-gallon. Its a cleaner as its protects the top cylinders. this product has been around a long time. I use it in the fuels of mowers, tractors, it has added life to all. Good luck...

@@richardhenry5961 nah I don't have that kind of issue my mpg went down a bit and thought I could just regain back some of it that's all no major issues.

I had to half a tank, then add 3 gallons on top

I USED THA 20OZ. MY MPG N RANGE GREATLY IMPROVED ON MY CT6 PLATINUM SUPERCRUISE AND REDEYE HELLCAT CHALLENGER. THIS IS MY SECOND TEST RUN WITH THE PRODUCT. I HAVE A ROAR PEDAL THROTTLE CONTROLLER ON BOTH VEHICLES. WHEN I SET IN ECO MODE I CAN GREALTY SEE MORE MPG AND RANGE. 🎯🫡💯

I didn't see much maybe cause you have a larger engine it works better. I am thinking to try to test other products see how it is
