Very Similar to the 2002 Sonoma as well and what a timely video. I've been having nothing but problems with the AC on my son's 2002 Sonoma and you made this look like baking cookies. I wish other mechanics would make videos as concise as this. No excessive talking, straight to the point, great video work. Can't wait to see more quality videos like this one.

That's why i started this channel about 3 months ago. Every video i see out there has bad camrea angles and some guy talking about his mother in law for 5 mims before they actually get to the point of the video haha. Apprecate the support. Much more great content to come :)

2003 Chevy Traiflblazer Ext 4wd: no need to drain radioator. Just above radiator, horizontal frame bar, remove four 13 mm bolts and the vertical piece in the middle that holds radiator and condenser together. Then, condenser will be accessible. Just remove plastic piece (at each top ends of condenser) that holds condenser against radiator. Then, there is enough room to remove condenser. Thanks for video though - it gave me enough courage to attempt it myself.

Thanks for the great video. I just did this on my 2004 Blazer LS. Lucky for me, you don't have to pull the headlights and front grill on this model. Just the shroud & radiator.

How do you add oil to the new condenser? Can you just pour it in to one of the fittings openings where the hoses connect and just turn the condenser and rotate it until your short has distributed and it won't plug the thing up?

So on a 95 s10 4.3 , the condensor can be removed without removing the radiator?

I have a 2002 S-10 ZR2. When I did mine, I didn't have to remove the radiator hoses or the trans lines. I just removed the battery and the battery tray and the ac lines where right there.

Is it ok to do all of the replacement work myself, then drive my car to an AC specialist to do the recharge on the system? Or would that be bad for the AC? Just not sure I feel confident about doing that recharge myself.

Decent video but ALWAYS ALWAYS change the o rings on any ac component if possible whenever possible, there’s no such thing as a “decent” oring after it’s been crushed already, this guys sayin he dealt with a lot of leaks but 90% of them are from guys like this that have “repaired or replaced” something at some point (I.e a leaky overthought o ring that wasn’t changed when it was supposed to be) big difference between replace and repair with a good repair comes longevity and this system will not see that😅

not a good idea to be putting compressed air in to a fresh receiver/dryer kind of defeating the purpose of replacing it. always use dry nitrogen for finding leaks

@@BuddysDIY adjustable wrenches, pliers and channel locks have no place in an auto shop, much less around tubing and hose clamps. You say you've done a lot of A/C work, get the correct tools and don't mark/screw up customers parts.
