Love how Anthony Michael Hall stays with Dana at the end; realizing she can't get off the stage. Such a kind gesture to not leave her there all alone!

@@GonzoAmerican So just because a person has a disability of some sort their life is "sad"? Clearly you have never known anyone with a disability as most would laugh at you for saying such.

What is going on with Dana Barron? This is the 2nd one of these conventions she’s appeared at in the last year where she’s been in a wheelchair. Not only that, but if you watch closely, her handlers had to pick her up and move her to the chair she’s sitting in. Something seems terribly wrong with her. Very sad.
@kevincannon77111 ай бұрын
I've wondered that myself. It was great seeing her in interviews and on panels like this one over this past summer connected to the "Vacation" 40th anniversary. Dana, if you're lurking, we hope you're doing OK, and we hope to see more appearances from you soon! 🙏

Why do you feel the need to know someones personal business? Why is someone using a wheelchair mean there is something "terribly wrong"? What is "sad" is that it seems to be thing you are focused on instead of the person she is. Meanwhile I noticed she is still as cute as she was back then when I first had a crush on her.
@davidbrydon31248 ай бұрын
@@virgilhilts3924 so we're supposed to totally ignore the wheelchair and absolutely not wonder what might have happened to her? How incredibly woke of you to just shrug such things off. That is, I totally do not believe that you aren't also curious about this ... hypocrite.
@virgilhilts39248 ай бұрын
@@davidbrydon3124 What business is it of yours? You can "wonder" all you want but you are not owed any answers. Do walk up to everyone you see with some sort of visible disability and demand they explain it to you? Clearly you've never known anyone with a disability, because if you had you would know how rude and inconsiderate it is. My niece has been a C5/6 tetraplegic for about ten years now and she is still amazed how many people will approach her asking her personal business. You are not owed any sort of explanation, and the fact that a persons disability is all you see shows just how immature and inconsiderate you are. PS... You obviously have no clue what the word "hypocrite" means.

She has Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Basically, her motor neurons in her spine don't work (or don't work right) and her muscles etc. atrophy due to the weakening and not being used. I don't know which type she has, hopefully it's type 3 since that has a normal life expectancy versus type 2 which is only 20-40 years or so.
