Here we have the second 2.4L ecotec with a mysterious miss and rough idle. If oil additive fixes your miss then this is your problem.

I also get the rough "misfire" feeling sometimes accelerating.... almost feels like a transmission slip but its not....either way thanks for the video man you're the best.

Holy crap dude! I want this to be the problem! Everything else has been done. I'm looking at a 2014 with 144K mileage. Super clean and the seller replaced everything, but the problem persists. The lady that bought it is about at her wits end. We'll try the Oil Stabilizer as a test. Thanks dude I'm subscribed.

OMG, I've been trying to find the cause of this issue for over a year. 😮 I have been up and down my fuel system and even changed out those two sprockets on the cams. I was near just giving up and replacing the vehicle. Thanks for pointing out the problem. 😅

Been having the same issue with the wife’s Terrain for over a year and was about to send the thing into a ravine! What is the part number for the seals? You’ve got us all on the edge of our seats with that nugget of information!

Do you have the part numbers for the seals? I've repaired dozens of 2.4's(rings and t-chains) and have two of them where the oil pressure gets low at the head when warm in eco mode(lower idle). I've replaced the oil pumps which helps a little. Looks like this could be the culprit, thanks!

2010 Chevy Equinox 2.4L eco. Ive been experiencing this problem for the last few months. Changed my spark plugs thinking that was the fix. It only helped with acceleration so far. But when changing them, one of them had oil ALL over the threads. the other 3 were just covered in soot. It still has a sputtering noise when accelerating at 1900 - 3000 rpm and at idle.

Are you able to slip new seals on the cams or do the cams have to be removed to put them on???
