Thank you for this! Helped me though the installation of my swivel seat. Was so much easier than I thought it would be. The only thing I did different was I just popped off the seat from the base, I didn't remove the whole thing together. I would never have thought of swivelling the seat to get at the bolts while tightening them lol! I'm sure that nugget alone saved me half hour of frustration. Thank you sir!

Hey Keith. I just went back to watch this video of yours . I wish I would have done that first before I ordered the wrong swivels that don’t fit ! I am working on another van build and want seat swivels. Are you planning on attending the spring meet up? If so I would like to check out your swivel seats ( a little concerned about the extra height as I am 6’2 ). Hope to have van ready for a test run by meet up time Thanks Keith

Installed today. Thanks for the video! The "instructions" on their site are basically irrelevant. There's a very misleading comment next to the link for your video saying that something is wrong in it. I realize now I installed the bottom bolts upside down, and that's why the tolerances are super tight... the washer placements made all the difference. Needed stacks of two for the bolts to not hit in passing. I'll fix it tomorrow in the daylight...

ok boss that was relatively easy as was mine for pass side altho its a pain in the arss swiveling around cause such a tight space. need to open door and move seart forward and back many times turning around.. the problem i experienced was not even enough space on the drivers side to swivel. The seat hits the steering wheel, tthe door and trim peice on wall behind where door closes. Its a stock drivers side chair in the Savana 1500 Base model. Gotta be a way a guy can gerry rig something to make swivel happen. Maybe need move base to center a couple inches .Forget opting for a bigger comfy captain chair. And dont know if a smaller chair if even available would help. What do ya think? .

I think we are probably stuck with a non-swiveling driver seat. I kinda knew this going into the build, so I designed my floor plan accordingly. Hey, Thanks for Watching!

I think I'm just going to get some wing nuts and quickly remove the four bolts on the seat bottom and flip the seat on the base whenever i need it. Almost just as fast as using this swivel and retains the original seat height.

Hey got a question what you advising for my 04 savana drivers swivel? Installed one on passenger seat that needs front door be opened then closed for full swivel but there wasn’t enough space on drivers side the stock seat kept banging into sidewall behind and steering wheel. Gotta be one available allowing seat be to be adjusted so not having to drill new mounting holes.

That’s a tuff one. You may have to make a plate to adapt the seat to the mounting holes.

I just purchased a 2017 chevy express van 2500, I would like to put in a better seat. It has a cloth stock seat, with a airbag in the upright/seat back. But having a problem finding one that will fit, without bypassing the airbag. No power, I can deal with a manual. Any ideas ???

I found it on line for $99. I’ve looked but can’t find my receipt to get the website for you. You should be able to google it. Just make sure you get the one for the passenger seat and not the driver seat. They are different. 👍

@@TrailMedic911 The swivel base needs to be moved forward a little over an inch and to the right (door side) about 2. When you turn the seat backwards, the arm rest will clear the door arm rest. I built my own swivel out of 1/4 plate steel and swivel mount
