I had a hard time today replacing mine on my 2007 same color as that car. Some idiot before hand replaced it before and put the pin upside down and then used some weird tiny little washer on top of it that was tight as hell on it and I was cussing mad trying to get it off. Finally got that tiny little black washer off or what ever it was. And replaced it with the same part from Amazon you had here. Man they need to make these in metal then they won’t ever break again. I swear they make these parts weak and plastic on purpose to keep us buying parts. Had they been made from metal they’d never break. Thanks for the informative video. HHR’s are a pain to fix things on.

I just replaced my driver side door handle thanks for the video. However the black plastic at the top of the bracket where the cable comes in is now rubbing against the pin with the cable connected to it and the end of the door handle where the cable fits in. If I pry that plastic up then it doesn't catch as bad but the pin threatens to pop out and I would hate for that to happen while my wife is driving the car. Any ideas?
