Just listening around for exhaust ideas. I have a 2012 bought new, first thing drove it to a muffler shop and got chrome tips. What a rip from GM not to end the pipes, that being said, this is the only other one I have seen with tips.

So, my mufflers have rusted out on my 3.9L so now I have to replace them :( On the bright side, this sounds amazing! How was the cabin drone before the resonator delete? I don't mind a little cab noise, but I want 40 mph and 75 mph cruising to not be obnoxiously loud.

well, the car only can get louder after you minus anything that is restricting flow of air out of the car. it didn't get that much louder but, you can hear the exhaust from inside. nothing that sounds annoying to me. if you love the sound of an exhaust on a car why mine the sound?

I mostly see where you are coming from but when on day long road trips sometimes I'd rather not exhaust in the cabin then. Normally when I have all windows down and the music is cranked, I don't mind in the slightest :-)

I drilled 4 holes in the back of my mufflers. Above the tail pipe. 1in apart Dime size to be exact. It purrs too!! Flowmaster is a waste of money

I have the same car but red, the only after market parts are bolt on exhaust tips/resonators. :p In this video do you have any air intake or other mods? Would you recommend a specific air intake system for this vehicle???

the only one i've known is the K & N air filters. if you know of a better brand or concept im all ears.

so u have 2 super 44s in the video ? and as of in this video is the resonator still in it . or no resonator just pipe to the dual 44s ?

yes in this video its only the mufflers installed. the res is still in there. i noted that i was planning on taking out the resonator. the finish product to date right now is the flowmaster 44's, K&N air filter and the resonator has been taken out. i think i put of a video of the finished product of a take off and drive by.

from ya description you say you plan on gettin a chip......chips are useless......your best bet is to get a PCM tune......

+Sand Man the cheapest way? put on some breathable mufflers and a cold air in take. the less restriction the more hp you might get. the expensive way. tune the engine to a more sport level.

really I would not know. I did months of research and reading forums to make my final decision on what to put on there. I watched a lot of magna flow and Flowmaster videos and settled on Flowmaster.
