I know this is a older video but very informative. I got a your wheels are 22x14 106 mm bore and 76mm offset. Thats the same spec of my Hostile exile wheels on my k10. My truck came with 3" spacers and i hate spacers. Can i pull the spacers off and still use the factory length and diameter wheel studs? Or did you have to change wheel studs? Thanks
@noah63nova14Ай бұрын
I left the rear studs but did install longer studs on the front.

My k10 is A beater but I'm thinking stock height with 35s. And cut outs. Right I've got 275 70 r18 With zero offset and spacers. 3.5 in the back and 1.25 in front. And they're about flush. The rear is still in like an inch.

Hey man I love your truck and I’m really glad I found this video because I’m 15 and have a 87 square body 2wd shortbed and I’ve been looking for lifts and tires to fit the lift I choose. You think a super lift 8” would clear 14 wides and 37’s with or without a 2” wheel spacer on a 86 K10? Also could I add a leaf or stack a spacer to achieve 9-10” up front because I’ve only found 8” and 12” lifts and I really don’t want to do 12. I feel like there’d be more problems lol
@noah63nova142 жыл бұрын
Yeah you should be okay. The lift will most likely be pretty stiff when you first get it so that’ll help. If you aren’t running it off-road you should have no worries. Wouldn’t even need the add a leaf most likely

No spacers. The bore is like 106mm on the wheels and fits well. Just have to be cognizant when looking for wheels to ensure they are large enough hub bore

What's the offsets on those wheels in photo -60???
@noah63nova142 жыл бұрын

@tonywallen7589 Жыл бұрын
Positive offset means the wheel is more “tucked” into the wheel well or hidden. There’s more back spacing. So are you saying big wheels are more likely to rub with positive offset or negative offset (i.e. set wider out)?
@noah63nova14 Жыл бұрын
More likely to rub with negative offset. Positive offset with a 10 wide or less wheel is going to tuck. All truly wide wheels are going to have negative offset therefore causing more fitment issues.

22x14s on 37s with only 4in of lift will scrub, just all depends on what’s acceptable to you. If you’re only on the street you may be okay. If you don’t mind pushing fenders in a little or cutting them you’re also still good.

@noah63nova142 жыл бұрын
Depends on your rim width and offset. Also depends on what your plans are with the truck. Others have definitely done it. If it’s going to be on pavement all the time and a narrow rim it should be fine. But if it’s going to go off-road or the wheels are wider I would definitely go down in tire size or up in lift. I prefer 33s even with a 6in lift. But I like wider wheels and to be able to go off-road
