Dj Kitey Loc'zz I bought an 89 back in February all stock, all original with 89k miles. It now has a 4” lift 33s on 18x12 and a lot more work getting it running and driving good again. It’s my almost daily driver LOL. It gets a lot of attention everywhere because you don’t see too many around especially in good shape. I’m rebuilding an LQ4 and 4l80e to do an “LS” swap. The 5.7 TBI is too gutless for me. Soon will get 4.30 or 4.56 gears for those heavy larger and much heavier 33s.

Michael not the best years for k5 anyways. this one is an 89-91 model. can came with to much electrical crap in them. infact any squarebody after 1985 went to shit with the TBI garbage and extra electrical and emissions junk

The only benefit to TBI is that you can climb steeper hills without starving the engine of fuel.

Sick air!! No doubt the frame was possibly bent up , leaves shot and it looks like the actual axel bent or even broke! Good thing its a Chevy, have it going again in a week or so, or swap parts to another. Good times thanks for sharing.

To all the babies out there. It would cost more to restore this truck than it would ever be worth in the end. Yes it sucks seeing a cool vehicle being destroyed but I would rather see it go out like this than sitting in a grove rotting away like most do. Pretty much everyone saying it should be restored would never undertake such a project or pay someone to. Just be happy it when down in a blazer of glory.

Everyone's mad that this "classic" blazer got destroyed, but honestly, the rockers are completely rusted out, and it's a 87 or newer blazer at that, not much of a classic with its fuel injected engine, 10 bolts and 700r4. pretty much the best parts of the truck are the engine and maybe transfer case, the 10 bolt axles and 700r4 suck for offroading. Maybe the parts will go to good use bringing an actual classic from the 70s back
