Need to put lots of pressure on the back side of the steering wheel with your legs. Then hit the shaft by shocking it it should pop👍

The steering wheel isn't coming off, I've put all the pressure i can on the bottom and hit it several times and its not budging

You will have to get a steering wheel puller. You can buy a cheap one from harbor freight or free rental from a parts store.

It can be done but harder.

Thank you so much for the video. I believe my turn signal switch is bad. I don't have any signals on the inside & outside the truck. I replaced the relay & fuse is good. I'm guessing it's the turn signal switch that's bad

Most likely but check the flasher first . The round thing in the fuse block that clicks power goes through that first

@@Jvcomet That's the relay I replaced & the square 1 beside it. I replaced both of them already. Fuses are good too. I'm guessing it's the turn signal switch that's bad?

A round steel 3/4” bar and a dead blow hammer. Put pressure on the back of the steering wheel with your legs then make sure the nut is loose but still on so you save the thread from getting damaged. Should pop right off.

Not sure exactly what’s it’s called other that what you just said. Auto zone or Napa will have it.

What if the key is stuck in the on position and wont go into unlock position?

You should be able to take it apart and change the tumbler and key

Got it all taken apart tumbler won't come out till it's in the unlock position tried everything besides just drilling the key hole in the tumbler to unlock all the pins. Just didn't wanna drill it if I didn't have to.

Do you have the steering wheel off Remove the clip and plate and you should be able to access the screw that locks the tumbler assembly in the column

Yep got everything off even have the whole lock housing apart where you can access the back of it. Still won't come out got the locking screw out.

@Acrazyindian96 don’t know. With the locking screw that goes through the Tumblr from the top. Should be nothing else holding it in.

Once all the parts are back together the steering wheel will only basically go on one way. Then put the nut back on and tighten it.
