Since you said it benefits the mouth and teeth, I would think it would be better to take after the meal instead of during. During might make you lose some dental benefit. I never heard licorice pronuncd without the "r". Did you grow up, up North? Can you take it more than once a day?

I agree with you there are many people that don't know about this and Dr. Mandell is trying to tell as many people as he can, and beside the credit goes to God who created all things and not to Ayurvedic, I can't understand why certain races and people think they deserve credit for what God did. While drinking my tea I scoop up a about half a table or teaspoon of fennel seeds and start chewing on them. They much softer by the way and taste great! @melissarmt7330 Жыл бұрын
A small bottle (about 30g) of fennel seeds can set you back almost $6 and by the time it hits the grocery store shelves, it could have been sitting in a warehouse for up to two years. If you're fortunate enough to live in a more populous city that has an ethnic East Indian grocery store, buy fennel and other spices there. For that same $6.00, you could get about a pound (about 400g) of fennel seeds. Because there is a much higher turnover rate of spices in Indian shops, the spices are much fresher and more potent. India Bazaar and similar shops are a fantastic place to shop for spices and other difficult to find ingredients. Great video! I always have fennel on hand and like to use about half a teaspoon of Mukwas (spices including fennel with a tiny bit of sweet) after a meal. It does aid digestion and leaves your breath sweet :)
