Thank u chow Meng for sharing “focus on what is left”. I have recently lost my mother and was deeply traumatised with regrets and While trying to get over the grief, saw this brighten me up. Cos Chow Meng went thru such deteriorating of health but presses on.👍🏻

We complained over small things like mrt crowded, food not nice, etc but when u get this kind of medical condition, those stuff are nothing compared to the challenges these folks faced on a daily basis...I like what he said "dont focus on what u cant do but focus on what you can do "...He's an inspiration to us.

That is fine philosophy, much wisdom. However, here's some more wisdom - Why is so much of young Japan in a party life, shopping, traveling, but not many marrying and having children? No children, your money is free to be spent on buying lots of things. It is estimated that if Japan continues not marrying, the birth rate terribly low, there will be no Japan by 2050. This is also a problem now around the world. Of course, a lot of people in Japan think this is not a problem. They are the young in Japan partying away their 20s, 30s, 40s.

Well he has raked enough to even show off his 3-storey Bangalow recently garner through alot of Sympathy publicity campaigns. A fact check showed that Kennedy disease patients have a life expectancy that is normal, although a small percentage of patients (~10%) succumb to the disease in their 60’s or 70’s due to swallowing complications (aspiration pneumonia, asphyxiation) resulting from the bulbar weakness. The are so many other diseases that have more severe symptoms and even lower life expectancy. Meanwhile many decent ordinary citizens struggle daily to support themselves and their families. These are the people that I would salute too and have lunches with but certainly not him. Ordinary Singaporeans are not stupid and we know who to empathize with and how to help those people who really needs help outside the MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) groups or organizations that exploit peope through brandings and profit-sharing system that is often untenable in the long run.

Wth? Clearly u lack empathy. Why is it a contest? No one is comparing between illness n diseases.. The fact is any kind of illness whether the most severe or not, takes its toll on the patient. I hope karma hits u n get the same illness..we'll see if ur response changes then. Get off ur high horse, yes there are many ppl suffering but wth u doing for those besides running others down? U help the needy? Based of u comment, u lack kindness n empathy to do so. FYI, I'd rather live in a hdb as a healthy bodied individual than a sick one in the bungalow.. So don't see the need of bringing his house up.

What a horrible person you are to make this kind of bitter comment that shows such a lack of kindness and empathy. We don't need him nor want him to be sick in order to support him.

Hmm.. Kennedy disease is a slow progressive neuromuscular disease. Usually the lifespans of patients are quite good, >90% will live till 70s...

If ur gna use God's name n grace in ur user, act like one who preaches it. God asks u to look inwards before u look outwards n criticise others. Whether he is generous to help others, is between him n God. U should do what u can to feed the needy n poor. God say only the rich can help?
