Viewing this in 2021, it's incredible to see how far Michaela has come and grown as an artist. After "I Will Destroy You" I am so curious about what her next project will be.

I hope all the youngsters currently attending theatre clubs and programmes take inspiration from Michaela. She's taken a one woman original play and turned it into a fab tv show! British telly needs more original voices

i am not sure if this version is but the show Chewing Gum which was made from this is on netflix, most of the characters are the same

You can rent just this play online without a monthly/yearly subscription at "National Theatre At Home". I've seen it and it's so engaging, funny and heartbreaking. I enjoyed it so much that I bought the script.
