This is maybe my favorite interview of anyone I've ever seen. A testament to both Hazel and del Toro, to be sure, but man del Toro absolutely blew my mine. He is an actual genius, it's easy to overlook him because his medium is film and that often doesn't command the same respect as science or other visual art forms but his intelligence is a little awe inspiring. His command of language too is incredible, it's hard enough to be bilingual but to be that articulate in your second language... Stunning.
