I wish I could budget like the two of you. However, there are No regrets at all. I admire the way you and your wife engage fellow travelers to explore places that are often times beyond imagination. I'm glad you found the video informative! Currency exchanges can be done at airports, banks, or exchange offices in both Iceland and the Maldives. Many places in tourist areas also accept USD, but we used our credit card most of the time with no foreign transaction fees.

Hello, I just watched your Iceland videos and I have some questions. How many days were you in Iceland? If you don’t mind me asking, in total about how much was the trip aside from flight?(Accommodation, car rental, food, and anything else that would be beneficial) I know is you put up prices throughout the video, but wasn’t sure if you have a total upfront? Also, I see a lot of your stays were very affordable, like under $75 a night. Every airbnb I’m looking at is around $130-150 per night. Is that because you went in April vs we’re looking at Mid July-Early Aug? My husband and I are looking to go in the summer and doing as much research as possible and trying to figure out what type of itinerary to do for 4 or 5 days. Thanks!

First day of summer isn't really summer in Iceland 😅 - Summer is June-July-August. If you are lucky then May and September are usually pretty decent as well. I can see on the videos that summer has not started, the grass is still not green which is perhaps the best indication to see if summer has arrived or not 😉
