Is a online dental assistant course good for you?!

hello, from columbus OH 😊 i take the online course through penn foster. Very busy city! i’m more interested in a “laid back” maybe private office. it’s hard finding something like that here. or maybe i’m just now doing good enough at research but i haven’t even gotten my certificate yet! although i’m more than halfway through with the classes. i get stressed thinking about how hard it will be to get my foot in the door here! seems like everything in my area is all high tech! Agin i haven’t learned anything hands on! so i’m sure you can understand how that could be scary! i honestly don’t even know what advice i’m looking for now that i’m typing this comment 😅

Hey, I would suggest calling around to some local dental offices and saying that you’re in an online school and ask if you could do a practicum there. This would be great for some hands on experience and if you make a good impression. It could lead to job opportunities! 😄 Best of luck! 🦷

I took the x- ray exam and failed it. How can I succeed a lot? It's hard 😣😣

Just study and try again! It’s a hard test. Don’t be to hard on yourself. I know a lot of assistants that failed the first time. You got this! 🦷😄

I'm contemplating if would make it as a Dental Assistant😬 I'm afraid of not passing certain exam. I wonder if school will give many tries? I'll keep in mind what Cheyenne said. 👍👍
