I didn't want to do a wild card this year. I didn't feel motivated. I recorded it in the last hour before the deadline without a microphone, because I was very busy with work in another city. This is 65% of what I can really do. I didn't try very hard)) I'm glad it turned out simple and fun) I will make a studio version of this theme, it will be very cool, I promise! p.s. the only wildcard I really like this year is Improver

It's a little sad this year that there are a lot of half hearted wildcards. This might be because of the many auto-qualified beatboxers or the timing issues, but still a bit of a shame. PacMax and Stitch almost didn't submit one.

Taras is trash though, he heavily HEAVILY relies on producing his music. I agree about the new wave beatboxing and yea Taras sort of started the trend but Improver has him beat easily. EASILY.

​@@FrotLopOfficialI think you heavily underestimate producing as a skill. Yes, he usually does more effects during his videos, but he does it in such a unique and skillful way, like nobody else. He combines it so flawlessly with his beatboxing that it becomes a masterpiece. And it's not like his raw beatbox skills are bad, they're pretty damn good as well. I wouldn't call either of the 3 (Improver, Taras, Helium) better or worse than the other. They have way too different styles, and different skills, all with their strengths and weaknesses. It's like comparing apples to oranges.

Ну среди всех русских битбоксеров кто подал заявку на отборочные на gbb24 , Improver явно смотриться лучше. Хотя тот же Helium мог бы лучше что то сбацать. Вышло не плохо, но этого я думаю недостаточно для отбора.

Helium has some of the cleanest and most aggressive drum sounds in the game, maybe even THE best, and that is something to be proud of. However, his tracks, though mind-blowing in their own right, lack hook and melody, which puts him JUST below some of the other competition because the tracks don't connect as much with the average listener. But for real, can we all take a moment to appreciate the amount of practice Helium puts into those sounds and combos. Absolutely insane.

I agree. He's lost championship rounds to some people who weren't as skilled simply because the others had the hook or whatever the audience wanted. Same goes for regular music. Pink Floyd held the title for best-selling album for years until it was taken by...taken by... ...I don't want to say it... ...Britney Spears. *_*sob_** Not that I want Helium to become a "pop" beatboxer, by any means! That's music for ya. He'll no doubt leave an indelible impression on beatboxers, no matter what.

It’s gotta suck as a beatbox content creator rn the org and views aren’t paying well enough I know for sure and then the backlash these beatboxers get for making something not as “perfect” is wild even though they know nothing abt what’s goin on behind scenes so you got all these guys who mastered a craft and can’t do anything with it to make acc money I know helium has more power than that everyone does but you can’t expect him too want to make that when his work feels undervalued and that goes for so many beatboxers and it shows with how many ppl come and go from this scene I know this is a dramatic comment but I see it all over the place rn and some viewers don’t understand the financial problems and hard work it takes to do this stuff and get it out to you guys

Improver definitely has the best overall inward bass. KI is deeper but none of that matters when you have no control over it. Also KI is only known for his bass everything else is hot trash. Improver is good at basically everything
