I think this is way more impressive and revolutionary than people think. Sound engineers learn for years if not over a decade to learn how to change sound perfectly and create sounds just right for a song. Taris has just his mouth and reverb and out skills them all.

Thank you for explaining that the production effects are for enhancements. Some people are so dense. Most people don't want to listen to raw vocals... they don't sound as pleasing dry. We listen to songs post production like 99% of the time, even when people don't even realize it. Taras is super talented. His reverb, Eq, and compression is clever.

I prefer some of his covers over the original and that is for me the biggest achievement you can reach. I want to get to this level one day even if im only a beginner beatboxer that does it in tiny steps because i want to explore it myself, never looking up tutorials. Might not be the most efficient learning method but for me the most fun. Who knows what kind of sounds you stumble over 😁

I have listened to beatboxing every now and then. Metalhead by nature but I love all styles of music, beatboxing included. Taras brought me back to the genre 3 weeks ago and I've been fuckin spellbound by his rendition of The Hills since. I have no idea how many times I've listened to it but he has gotten quite a few views of it from me alone lol. Beatboxing is fascinating! From the early days of boots 'n cats to this I've been fascinated by how you are able to produce so many different sounds from your mouth. I wish I had the talent for it but a lack of rhythm forces me to headbang at most or just listen and jump around. Fucking amazing is what it is!

Of course this type of quality has some kind of post FX or automated mods. But isn’t that an incredible talent in and of itself? Being able to compose these incredible sounds and knowing when to add reverb or not, increase the bass, make it hollow then make it full. Singing and beatboxing is a talent like playing any instrument. It’s knowing how to move your audience and invoke emotion that turns a talent into art. And this is pure and incredible art. ❤
