I was travelling from lahore to islamabad in 1996 in a coaster. While in the coaster, I listened to this song for the first time. I was 9 years old and my exposure to bollywood wasn't that much. I remember getting a Made in India Audio CD back in 1996 when we got a new music system.That costed ₹300 and CDs were meant to be damn expensive back then. My parents got one more Audio CD and I hated to put that on, but the audio system was a 2 CD player, my parents put the “other” CD as well along with Alisha’s made in India. The other CD was Maachis!! When I heard this track, it just instantly made me feel different, I can still feel that vibe that I felt as a 9 year old kid..that’s what such music does to you!! Hats off to Vishal sir - he gave us the KK , a true gem💎
