The reserve consists of 577.96 square kilometres of reserved forest and 32.51 square kilometres of protected forest.
We visited Tadoba National Park in Sep 2021 as we want to know how it feels in the monsoon. The landscape was green with intermittent rains. Our Gypsy had cover to protect from rain. We know that Chhoti Madhu is around nearby area only as we have confirmed sighting report of late morning. So we searching the area where there was very high chances of seeing her. And here we are with her two cubs, the other cub was on the other side of the road. The cub was little bit hesitant to join her due to traffic and human presence on the road. We left the spot around 6pm as it was very near to closure timing of the safari. Later on in the night we got the news that, cub met with the mother late evening.
