I watched the original series religiously as a kid, but I have to say, I'm really enjoying this reboot. It retains that adorable charm from the manga, and the animation is actually really clean and pleasant to look at. I'm really glad that Chi hasn't been forgotten.

The theme song is Nee from Perfume, which was release in 2010, was an ad song for Natural Beauty Basic. You might think it does not fit, because it was not written for Chi's sweet home.

Why is everyone shitting on this? It's not that bad! Heck, for a 3D anime it's pretty good! It keeps the spirit of the manga, it's adorable and though I do agree that the old opening had a cuter song, this one's still pretty good! The OP animation is also very nice and stylish, which I personally think is better than the original! I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I hope at least some people are enjoying it like me..

I find the 3d animation to be extremely well done! ^^ I rarely seen an anime pull off 3d that good! For it's just Chi in 3d, and longer, so I love it. It's the cutest anime ever.

i love this. this and the original anime are my childhood, and the reason i got into anime like tokyo revengers, and demon slayer, along with pokémon, and attack on titan. to this day, i still cherish this and the original. and i love that one episode where kocchi, and chi are just walking in the dark and they notice "zombies" and they try to run away from them, i still love that episode, it was really funny. i hope this series comes back, i miss it. a lot. :(
