Chia team, whether or not this project has the tangible impact that we all hope, your work has given me a hobby when i desperately needed it, and truly catalyzed me to become a more capable individual. Chia was my catalyst for learning linux, building computers, basic networking (stupid port 8444 LOL). Chia gave my brother and I a bonding opportunity over building my first JBOD together. If the doors closed tomorrow, you should consider this project a success and I (and thousands of others like me) appreciate you.

The "no power" is wrong. In most if not all cases, the current "compressed" formats offer LOWER POWER USAGE per effective TB, as hard drives DO USE POWER and you need significantly MORE of them if you have more than a tiny farm.
