I've been in Chiang Mai now for a couple of days. Unfortunately, I couldn't organise myself quickly enough to get to the Lantern Festival...so Fran, you've partially filled the void with this lovely little vlog😊...It was almost like being there. Also, I appreciated your explanation of the deeper meaning of this ritual. I presume all those hanging lanterns (so ubiquitous throughout the city) are hand-made...can anyone clarify this for me?

These lanterns are traditionally handmade using bamboo frames, mulberry paper, and other natural materials. Artisans often decorate them with intricate patterns, adding a personal and artistic touch to each piece.
