DarkmaneTheWerewolf hallelujah. Plus I believe mhxx is coming to us for the switch in holiday 2018. I don't know for sure but my uncle told me that it's a high possibility. Like monster hunter stories, I'm pretty sure it just needs to be localized and translated.

As far as I know, at this moment theres been no official announcement. But I can't imagine they won't localise XX when they have X as Gen. If they're going to localise Stories - a Spinoff, theres no way they won't localise MHXX - a Main series expansion. Its likely they want to put everything into MH World right now so they don't want to announce an english XX/Gen2 such that people might feel like waiting for that over MHW. After MHW releases, they might say something =p
