Trey Hendrickson! That would be wild! If the bears draft a RB round one, I might throw my remote through the TV lol. Landon Jackson, and Deone Walker would be a huge steal for the team in round 2. With Booker, Nolen, Milum, Ratledge, Green, Grant, Pearce, Princley all most likely available at 1.17, I’d be a little upset. Great breakdown as always, and I’m glad you did this video in case Poles and company do something like this… more than enough time to not be shellshocked and probably saved my TV and remote😂 🐻⬇️

Ronnie Stanley (or aleric jackson) Zietler (or tev jenkins) Trey Smith (or another OG or even move cam robinson inside) JK Dobbins Dan Skipper DEFENSE: Darrell Taylor Sign Some monster NT Draft: R1: Shemar Stewart (after slight trade down) R2: Tyliek Williams. R2: Aireontae Ersery / Connerly or another OT that falls to play OG next year. R3: Grey Zabel * Stewart has become my DE#2. He's a better version of montez Sweat. he'll be a game wrecker who can play outside and inside. Oline: Starters: Stanley, Tev, Zabel, Smith, Wright Backup: Braxton, Ersery, Bates, Amegadjie, Skipper Dline Starters: Stewart, Dex, Tyliek Williams, Sweat Backup: Taylor, Billings, FA, Booker/Walker * We still have pickens and Dom Rob as depth. i cant say i am a fan of your first 4 selections: - hampton is not apete. - jackson and walker are rotational guys (at best). they are big but dont have much pass rush upside. i doubt you'd play either on 3rd down. Darrell taylor and Demarcus walker would be much better on 3rd downs. - why a TE in r3? its the least of our worries. heck, if we keep allen we dont even need a TE in our 3 WR offense

So you saying Jeanty won’t go in the first round but Omarion Hampton will? 😂 I pretty much agree with everything you say, well like 75% but to just overlook all Jeanty has accomplished and his potential is crazy. He was a Heisman finalist and led his team to the CFB playoffs. Any NFL franchise will draft him not only for his upside but his jersey and tickets sales as well. This shit still a business, if you think NFL teams don’t consider that when drafting you are crazy bro lol it’s not like Hampton played real competition either (I remember you said Jeanty couldn’t run through nfl comp) idk how you feel Hampton can if a Jeanty can’t. Treveon Hendrickson has home run potential, Hampton gets caught from behind constantly and I’m not seeing him create lanes with his vision and speed. These are both Jeanty and Hendrickson strengths

If you can get hendrickson in a Trade down + Walker you do it. but i doubt this happens. - i LOVE hampton but he is not Apete (no one is). he is joe mixon / josh jacobs. - You have to upgrade the Oline more. its basically last years line + Dalman. nate davis is zietler. - keep bates. he can play G & C. heck, poles wanted him to be the starting C. he's not being cut unless he is injured. you are being ryan poles and hoping for the best with guys like bill murray who were injured all of last year and have never played in the NFL. - i am not sure why you are trading camp depth, especially pickens. he's a 3rd round pick. again, zero chance we trade pickens. they'll give him a chance to show what he can do, especially with a new DC. - whats your obsession with back up TE? lol. we have the deepest pass catching unit in the NFL, if we keep keenan. Your back up TE wont get touches.

I feel even worse. Why would you trade down, and give out 30 mill extra, just to draft 2 additional guys in the second round. The point of the second round guys is to go cheap on one position so that you can spend more on another. It feels like you just doubling down on the d line and going cheap on the o line.

I'm not telling you to not draft defensive players. I'm telling you to pick one. Either trade for a defensive player or draft them in the second round. Don't do both. Optimally we would spend the majority of the free agent money for o line then draft players.
