Key to this game for the Bears is how well the OLine can play. It’s obvious how Caleb was able to have success against the Panthers who only have 6 sacks through 5 games which is tied for 2nd worst in the league. Jaguars pass rush is much better, but not great by any stretch of the imagination. If Caleb has clean pockets, the O should have another productive day. But I’m still not sure what to make of the Bears OLine. We’ve seen times when the OLine was so bad that it made opposing bad DLines look stout. It’s the same story on the other side of the ball. Lawrence has been struggling, but he can still pick apart a defense out of clean pockets. Key for Bears D will be collapsing the pocket and getting to him.

Still think establishing the run controlling the clock needs to be done first here. Would help against these subpar teams before divisional games coming up. Caleb does make mistakes and dropping him back too early may lead to picks. Should be a good game. Let's go bears!

Despite the yards given up by the Jaguars secondary is that (1) most of these come from the second half of games. This is except for the Bills. (2) 3 of their 4 losses were 1 score games. Also, two of the losses were blown, late, 4th quarter leads. You also didn't mention wr Brian Thomas Jr. he is the second highest PFF wr thus far this year and has the fastest play on the year.

I like the prediction but I’ll give JAX 24 since the Bears 🐻 always seem to give up a “bend don’t break” field goal somewhere during the game. 31 points could put Caleb in the 350 yards range. At least I wouldn’t be surprised if it did.
