The Bears defense likes to give up 30 a game, every single game, so you look at the losses from an outsiders perspective and think that it's on him. But he's honestly one of the only bright spots on that team. Dude proved he can do it with his athleticism last season, and now he's proving he can do it throwing the ball. He's top 5 in all categories on the season, and he has the same TD/INT ratio as Tua lol. 11 TDs to 5 INTs.

I was thinking about Kerrigan as DC, but I don't know if he's ready to call the secondary. Obviously any fan would love to see him as DC if he can be successful though. I just think he probably needs to spend more time working his way up the ladder first. I think sadly the only person on the team with ANY experience calling defense, aside from Del Rio and Rivera, is our offensive line coach... and bringing someone outside the org mid season to call the defense is probably a bigger disaster. I don't understand why they still have Barton out there though. I get it, he has the green dot, but Jamin has done it and Cam has organized the defense too. Barton is too big a liability to put out there, even if Jamin plays a little better when he isn't green dot. We already had a big FA pick up in Jabril Cox, and even if he's not ready khaleke has looked significantly better than Barton. So frustrating.

I think the team looked exhausted from the OT game against the eagles. If you watched the pressers in the following days, they sounded dead tired. Statistics show OT is especially hard on the body and takes much longer to recover from, let alone before a short week. Ron should have gone for 2 points just to avoid the burden OT would place on them. The bear's offense is also a bit atypical which makes it that much harder when you don't have time to game plan and prepare. All that said, usual suspects were drug lords, and Forbes looks like a shell of himself (and there wasn't much self there to begin with xD). At least Sam looked decent.

It's russian except half of the bullets are in the chamber. Putting rookie corners on vet wr's makes absolutely zero sense, spent the most on defense yet the offense looks like a more complete unit. no halftime defensive adjustments and even more. @@jabariparis9697 Gonzalez is also out for the season I think. He's looked aight, but through the first 3 games he wasn't even performing as well as Forbes. So, it's possible forbes might be able to turn it around. He has better speed and coverage skills, he's just playing too risky and has been a liability as a tackler the last two games. All things that can be cleaned up with time. If Gonzalez ends up injury prone we end up thankful we didn't pick him. You just never know; but Forbes has not been it so far, that's for sure.
