Here's an idea: Put Brock Faber on this Blackhawks team for this season, and see how well he does. I'm betting he wouldn't be in consideration for the Calder. He's a fine player, but he's also benefitting from having more guys around him who can finish anything he starts. It's easy to rack up a pile of assists when you have a lot more guys than Kurashev, Foligno, and the occasional Vlasic or Jones helping you out, as is the case with Bedard. I'm guessing Faber's +/- would be more in line Jones' and Murphy's, too. (Not that I put much stock in +/-, but since others do...)

Exactly there are 6 guys on the roster that either have a 0 +/- or a positive +/- and one of those guys has played 50+ games while the wild have 15 with a 0 +/- or positive +/-
