Specially when the team introduced was the all time best record (I know it was the season before, but the team was basically the same) of NBA season. Man, oh man. Bulls fan here. This intro never got old. When the Bulls used to play at Chicago Stadium, the crowd was so loud with this intro that you felt that old building shake. The United Center was loud too with the last 3 peat. I'm so glad that I got to see the Bulls win all 6 titles. What a dynasty.

@@markmac2206 Chicago Stadium was also an older wooden building - so it wasn't just LOUD but everything in it was vibrating; the 2nd & 3rd levels would sway slightly as everyone rose to their feet and started cheering. The introductions and big moments in the game weren't just seen and heard but they were also physically felt as the building responded to what was happening. It was amazing.

Oh not by a long shot. I didn't even start watching basketball until I was in college over a decade ago. But the feeling of sheer greatness and civic pride that this evokes is palpable indeed. Everything about it is just carefully chosen to psych up everyone who witnesses it. Chicago doesn't have much to be proud of; I know, I've been there. But to have hosted this era of sports history made it special for quite some time.

This actually shows how important entrance themes are. I mean the moment players heard this intro they were even more pumped up and the opponents knew they were in trouble. Just look at Scottie Pippen, he is the first to come out and he gets even more pumped the moment he hears the theme. You already got half the win right there.

This song will always be associated with greatness. The bulls were ahead of their time. I cant remember any other team doing team intros back in the 90s. The bulls were pioneers. I got to go to a playoff game vs the heat when I was 8 years old and when the lights dropped without warning I got scared but then I heard the intro song and lasers going and it got loud. Til this day I have never been in a place that was loud as the UC that day. This song and the nba on NBC theme song will forever be engraved in my mind of the time when basketball was enjoyable to watch.

I pretty much grew up watching Michael Jordan and the Bulls, and I remember being pissed at this intro because I wanted the game to start so I could see MJ doing his thing, but now that I watch it again, years later, it makes the hairs everywhere stand on end. I think there are very few people in the world who would dispute that this is the greatest pro sports intro of all time.
