Great album; btw, why do they say that Hot Streets (which I also love) is the first to have a picture? Who are those seven guys on this album? They sure look a lot like the same ones I've been digging all these years.

Probably because they are. Absolutely brilliant musicians. So sad that Terry Kath was taken from them. IMO he was the driving force and according to Jimi Hendrix, Kath was a better guitarist than he was.

I have wondered why that was said with Hot streets being the only album with their faces as well. I suppose the Chicago vi pic just got overlooked all those years. 6 was definitely the first to show their faces. Not hot streets.

Its weird how many great 60s and 70s bands ended up as bland pop stars in the 80s. Like Grace Slick and several others for example. Like Chicago they started great and just eventually became absolute doo doo

Happened after Terry Kath died. He was Chicago's heart and soul.

Well, the artists get older and the music they make gets more complex. I loved 1980s Chicago, it was a real treat to hear their latest hits being played on the radio. 1970s Chicago was really great as well. I love both eras of Chicago.
