It’s all the increase in money supply, shortage in housing supply with low interest rates for mortgages.

50k over asking and they still lost. That’s insane. The people who have been on mortgage forbearance since last year under the CARES act need to expire June 30th I would think that will help the supply issue if many still can’t afford to make payments and sell. The weird thing is the home values of all these people who haven’t paid their mortgages have skyrocketed in the last 13months it’s almost like they had a free year of living and can cash out at a higher price if they sell.

Great points Bob. I just read that even if a portion of these homes went through foreclosure it wouldn’t make a huge difference inventory is so low. I don’t know how this is going to play out but it doesn’t seem sustainable.
