It is more personal to you. When you come to a city, you are looking at it as a stepping stone to your career and you may not be doing what is best for the resident and city. I would prefer someone born and raised in the city to run the city. Johnson has shown that his only care is the migrants, not the residents. I have no problem with the migrant spending if the residents had a vote on it. No one elected him, Pritzker or Preckwinkle to spend hundreds of millions on non-residents when that money could be used to fight crime or on the residents who are poor or homeless. People and businesses are getting robbed by the dozens and that money could've been used to fight crime or feed and housed the homeless.
