For anyone curious, Illinois, and Chicago especially, has on average the lowest amount of time spent in prison for rape and child molestation in the entire US. Many of the criminals are found of their crimes and either immediately released, released and put on parole, or given a minimum sentence that the criminal then does half the time due to good behavior (minimum time usually being five years). They also have low bonds, and overall it's no surprise that the state of Illinois has a lot of problem when it comes to sexual assault, especially since it's so difficult in liberal cities for women to own a gun for self defense.

But what they don't say is most firearms were in circulation for long periods of time and all though they may have came from surrounding states, they were not obtained legally but through theft or straw man purchases. Fun fact, strawman purchases get caught the fastest out of any category. Weak gun laws around us are not the source of our crime. Our THIRST for violence has trickled out into surrounding states. When chicago rats start hitting gun stores in Wisconsin they all go on alert for a couple weeks. But yet the gun store in Chicago I delivered to for two years hasn't been hit in many many years. It's decked out like a bank vault. You can't expect a mom and pop duck hunting shop 100 miles away to have the same security that suburban guns has. People say that as if tougher gun laws in Indiana will fix our problems. My brother in christ I'm a legal gun owner and not a criminal and I drive to Texas for ar15 parts. Literally hop on my motorcycle and I buy lowers in Texas and upper in south Carolina with cash. If I can do it for fun, they'll do it for their gang. The second I can't get them from Texas I've got a Russian on Instagram that will send you computer parts that look awfully similar to ak parts.
