Homicide rate is not always a good estimate. Chicago as a whole is safer, that’s a fact. But within the ghettos the murder rates are insane, stretching from out west to the south side. The fact that in 2021 there were over 1000 murders in cook county, with 890+ being gang related, with 90% of those being within that stretch I mentioned, that’s unfathomable. I don’t think you realize how high of a number that is.

The generation that grew up in the late 70s destroyed following generations. It all started with the gangster disciples and Latin King gangs. The crime patterns today are a result of these street gangs and their constant expansion and branching off. They have accumulated money from their organized crime syndicates and failed to rehabilitate and refurbish their neighborhoods with this income. Now their children, grandchildren, and great grand children are morally and economically bankrupt and disadvantaged as a result. The Italian mob was like this also but assimilated into society opening up bistros, restaurants, coffee shops, and other small businesses. The Mexican-Americans on the west side have followed this formula of the 1930s Italians of Chicago and run businesses and cater to their communities.

You see the pattern when our government is in different countries trying to govern other regions it doesn't go or do well. Any type of positive reinforcement that goes on in black communities is met with government intervention and infiltration. If blacks were able to florius in their own communities with no systematic blockades it would far surpass any other ethic neighborhood and the US government knows this Black people must be kept stagnant at all Cost this is a government priority

You’ll never be able to leave North Korea again, you’re a white male, you would get left alone because people would think you are a cop. First of all I'm not from Chicago or even familiar with the streets you claim I selected to stay near. At night I mostly drive down side streets where people are and main streets that are lighted because otherwise you won't be able to hardly see during the video. So I don't look for "relatively safe areas" I go where ever there is lights and action. Also the main streets are where most of the people, lighting and action is at night in any city.

You drove down my ex's street right past the mass shooting location. Still better then her last place a few blocks over, 3 times they shot up the house/people directly across from her. And some kid was killed on the corner. Most of it never makes the news. Driving around like that can get you killed, drugs/dealers/gangs everywhere. You're gonna pull down the wrong block on the wrong day.

running streets in Chicago is one thing, but alleys? No, I'll have none of that, not even in the afternoon.
