Good for you kid hope your shredding it a year later...I'm 44 and have been playing rythmn guitar since I was 8. I decided to learn my first scale this year. It doesn't matter how old or where you are in your guitar journey. You are in a good mental place if you feel the urge to learn more. And if you ever feel like your not in the mood to be creative....creativity is what you need to force yourself to do. Good luck little Rockstar! 🌟 🤩

I feel like playing Basic 7 or 9 Chords sounds better. I would ignore the Chord suggestions, as 12 barr blues is usually built on the 7 Chords. Certainly not Major chords in open position if you're playing an electric guitar. IMO

Time for a dumb question- maybe someone has an answer. Hard to explain for me but I'll try. One of my songs runs the 12 bars on the verses, but after each verse it has a quicker drums and vocals only ( ba dot dot Datta da Ba dot dot dotta da Ba dot dot dotta dot da Da dot dot dotta da ) Then back into 12 bar runs before begining to the next verse. Maybe this don't make sense, but it works for the song. Any help is appreciated, or I guess if you need to poke fun about it - go ahead.

@JJ1802 жыл бұрын
Well not all 12 bars have a traditional turn around, this track is in A so it would traditionally resolve on the E, this track does not guitar wise, the bass kinda does that instead, many 12 bars do that, but you can still play through it as if it does.
@seamusbrowne49092 жыл бұрын
