I grew up in Chicago and the food is the best.I use to love working downtown. I worked on State Street before and I worked off of Michigan Avenue near the Water Tower Place. It’s nice going back to visit family but if I can avoid it never in the winter. 😁

I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and didn't go into the city hardly at all. Once to Wrigley Field for a Cub's game. As an adult went to Michigan Avenue to shop a couple of times and to Navy Pier. It was fun seeing it from your viewpoint as a first time visitor. Best deep dish pizza at Lou Malnati's. You should check your grocery store at home. We have that pizza at our grocery stores in Wisconsin in the frozen pizza section. Looks like you had a great trip with your friends.
