Hooking air lines to reefer trailers always suck. Don't forget your tug test. Me personally, after hooking a trailer to the cab, I never set the tractor brakes after that point. I just utilize the trailer brakes to hold me. That is after a good tug test of course.

How is Chicago Yard Switching in places like this during the Winter? I moved south from Wisconsin but feel like I just traded for different weather problems. Main thing I was tired of up north is my yard didn't keep up on salting and plowing. They actually had us run the Yard Truck with tire chains.

You know how the comments are usually filled with people telling you how to do your job? You should really do a tug test. Leave it in forward gear after revving it once or twice and then hook up like normal, and as soon as you hit the red button your going forward. It doesnt slow you down and its safer.

Depending If How Much Experience You Have For Large Companies (Costco, P&G, Amazon) One Or Two Experience Is Fine, Companies Smaller That Have Only One-Branch Will Take One-Year-Experience And Last-But-Not-Least “Hole-In-The-Wall” Warehouse That Has Only Like Ah Couple Of Docks And One-Spotter-Truck Are Willing To Take Any That Just Has Ah CDL…Remember Nor To Catch Any DUI Or Reckless-Driving Anything That Can Mess-up Your MVR…Drive Safe & Slow Down…👍
