Congrats on the mother for being willing to accept the facts and not argue just to not seem wrong as so many are won't to do. However, I don't know if their marriage can survive this. She thought their husband was trying to kill their son and did not believe his side of the story before the deer was found. I don't think the husband could live with her comfortably after that.
@anya04102 жыл бұрын
I don't think they'll ever get back together relationship wise, but at least they can try to coparent in peace, which would be best for the kid. The lawyer just wanted an easy win, not really caring how much the sole custody would hurt the father, but also do immeasurable emotional damage to the kid. Stepparents aren't the same as biological ones, especially if you've gotten to know your bio parent. Divorces are never easy, but children tend to suffer the most during them. Also the mother was already very emotional (worried to death for her child, stressed out from her divorce), so the lawyer suggesting sth like that would definitely make her think the worst and jump to conclusions.
@alexanderelderhorst21072 жыл бұрын
I think the panic of the situation combined with the unlikeliness of his story is a fair reason for her to doubt him. Yes, it's unlikely the marriage will survive, but I honestly don't blame her for distrusting him, especially if there was marital issues leading up to the accident as well. We just don't know what their marriage was like. The question now is where the heck did the deer come from?
@irishuisman14502 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure that in the first part the mother also mentioned that she and her husband were in the process of splitting up, so the marriage was already kinda done

@dreamhobbiz7 ай бұрын
Yeah, its like having custody of the kids is a prize they have to win at all costs. And once they do win, they'll ensure that the other party never gets to see their kids, just pay for them. Then they'll complain how hard it is to be a single parent.

@dreamhobbiz7 ай бұрын
Amicable or civil divorces only exist in fairy tales. 80% of all divorces are always nasty, and while the warring parties fight, they don't care who they hurt in an attempt to one up each other, either financially, emotionally or mentally. Whilst going through a divorce, the couple almost always behave more like kids throwing a tantrum than their own children. And you wonder why there are so many kids from broken families.

Lads, even if it is a tv show, most scenes are quite real, mainly the dangers they portray of the scenes they go to. And this is coming from a real fire fighter. Now I cannot really judge on their procedures procedures because we do things very different in The Netherlands. (Example, we don't cut open roofs with chainsaws of houses and apartment buildings that are on fire.) As for you😉, Leon Miller, sir, good luck with the classes(they can be tough at times, mainly during the summer, but they are very informative and intersting. Especially the moments where you go to a training centre are great fun, good team bonding moments and very usefull experiences.) and have a safe career👍😉

'thats plausible.. why would they doubt him?'.. if it can happen here.. surely its a more common occurrence over there.. 🤷♀️

Deer will also run off before they die. My ex and I hit a deer at night, we went to my sisters to get my brother in law because we knew the deer wasn't dead ( it had a badly broken back leg) and my brother in law had a Hunting rifle, to put the deer out of its misery. When my ex and bro in law went back they couldn't find the deer , it wasn't lying on the side of the road, when we drove by the spot in daylight the next day we saw the body of the deer a few feet into a Farmers Field where it had run to before collapsing and Dying.

Even if the family court is different, and even if the father is telling the truth. Wouldnt the Police had made that statement and figured out that the father did turn to advoid something? I dont know how it works in traffic related accidents in the US, but in Denmark at least, do the police have someone to their force that is specialized in traffic related accidents, where they do look at the factors at the screen. Like the skidmarks, witnesses and so on. Is the police in US doing the same, why would the family court act different as they would had gotten that report from the police and see that there is no meat on the bone for the father wanting to hurt the son?
@salmaabdullahgb14 күн бұрын
Sadly I don't think all police are the same and may not investigate enough
