My dad played in a band just after high school in the early 70s that played a lot of Chicago covers, including this one. In 2018 they did a reunion for a week including a couple of public gigs, and I was lucky enough to get to join them on trombone (we did Beginnings and that was a blast!). Last summer we did it again, and played Saturday in the Park (and Beginnings!) again, this time with my then 2 year old son in tow, and he loves this song now as well, because he heard it from "daddy and grampie's band".

Nice vinyl. I found last year a 72 pressing which seems new, mirror-shiny and cover clean with 2 posters but I don't think it's an US one, I'll have a look. I will dig soon for the double VII, great too. 68-76 Chicago era is... Wow...

I use to live near a park in the early 70s so every time I hear this song, it reminds me of the good old days hanging out with friends and family in the park.
