Imagine...i was a kid when this song was made. Now i am 37 years old. I wonder why this song isnt played anymore over the radio and on tv? Our rainbow nation is not a rainbow. The rainbow has disappeared. The ground is dry. We awaiting another storm maybe we will see the rainbow again.

This morning in prayer I heard the voice of God instructing us to STOP speaking against South Africa as these utterances oppress its soul even more but rather call it up to its god-mandate which is for it to be a GOSHEN for AFRICA! I am praying for South Africa and I love her 🙏

For some reason this song makes me so emotional. I remember it playing as a child during the hectic IFP and ANC war in South Africa. I never thought worse would come after 1994. Here we are, malls destroyed due to looting. Wow South Africans. Surely you can do better.💔💔💔💔

I got goosebumps listening to this song because I remember the uncertainty about the future of the country when this song was released. Looking back, one can only see the grace of God upon this nation. And it is this same spirit that compels us to pursue peaceful solutions in the Middle East. Freedom for Palestinians is freedom for the Israelites, just as freedom for the natives brought about freedom to the whites during the apartheid. Although they were the beneficiaries of the privilege from the apartheid regime, they were suffering from institutionalised racism which robbed them of their genuine love for humankind. To date some are still suffering from this mental slavery, however, forgiveness, love, patience and God grace brought us this far. Well done South Africans, and thank you to the world for your support. We are beneficiaries of your support and are proud of your stance against the apartheid regime. However, some of you were jailed, lost your jobs and humiliated for fighting for the rights of a fellow human. But look what you have achieved....Well done, well done......

One of my dreams coming true would be singing this song and now I am adding detail to the wish. I want to sing this song with the st Matthews choir members from beginning of time to now and Latoya Makhene. Don't ask me how I wanted Brenda Fassie to sing at my wedding but Time... I will most probably have my own Brenda on the day, my sister's best friend as she said. Bubu Mazibuko and Brenda (at least I know her as Brenda) It's crazy that I am planning my wedding day. Tshele looks so handsome in his tusk. I hope to look perfect...
