Overlapping with the flowing rhythm of the small drums, the timbre of the large drums composed of varieties of wave and ripple-like melodies rings out and joins together with the flute and kane (dish-shaped bell) to create a musical symphony.
This performance is by the Chichibu Yatai-Bayashi Preservation Society, made up of members from various Chichibu shrine festivals, including the yearly Chichibu Night Festival and the summertime Chichibu Kawase Festival.
