🌟🌿 Hi, Donna here to announce a mislabel - Tamara’s photo of a hebe in bloom at 9:19 is in fact Veronica buxifolia, (odora), NOT Sutherlandii. Sorry about that!! 🌿🌟

What a fantastic garden - I just love it! I grow a mix of mostly natives with non-invasive ornamentals here in PA and it was so interesting to see how she used a completely different plant palette than mine and how they worked together so well in her climate. Wonderful episode!!!!

Thank you! Sounds like we are kindred garden spirits! 🥰

@@TamaraPaulat I LOVE your garden. Yes, very much kindred garden spirits 🥰 My garden is a platinum Audubon garden too - the birds and pollinators bring so much life and joy into the garden, don't they? Thank you for sharing your garden with us, I look forward to seeing part 2!

Thanks so much for putting these wonderful videos together. I’m new to your channel, living in Salem Oregon, I especially enjoy seeing what I can grow and I glean so much from these incredible gardeners and fellow plant friends. ❤🌱 ❤ Keep up the great work!

Awww thank you for saying so 😚 I’m just so grateful I can help to spread gardening love and know-how throughout our beautiful region. Here’s to gardens as far as the eye can see! 😝 (and wilderness of course!)

Absolutely beautiful garden! So many unusual plants that I need to research, because I’d like to grow a few in Central Oregon. Thanks so much for putting these videos together.

Beautiful I love how many drought tolerant plants she has. Also from Australia. We should try more of those in USA now that we have to dela with seasonal droughts in so m any areas.

Oh, that's a great idea! So many of your fabulous Australian plants do so well for me here in Oregon - I'm sure some of ours are worth trying for you as well.

Absolutely inspiring and beautiful. I live in Saint Helens too. You’ve given me so many ideas on what I can grow here. I’m learning to coexist with the local deer coming through my yard I think we’re working it out. Thanks for the lovely tour and sharing your story.

How wonderful! Oh, the deer are a challenge for so many gardeners, sounds like you've come to a compromise with them, that's great. Reach out and say howdy sometime fellow Saint Helensian! (is that a real term?)

I can appreciate her personal RAM. Botanical and common names are both pretty quick off her tongue. That can be a challenge!

Gosh, thank you! I suppose it's all those years working at Joy Creek Nursery and now Cistus Nursery. But I have a lot to learn, still! 😊

Beautiful. Do you hand water with a sprinkler or are you dragging a hose and watering by hand?
@TamaraPaulatАй бұрын
Drag hoses around 😬! A pain for sure, serves me right for being so picky about what gets water 🤣
