My name is Bre. I took two years of small engine repair at the local college. When I left school, I fell into a wonderful job at a local small engine shop where I worked the counter for a couple years. In 2010 my husband and I opened up our own small engine shop in central Arkansas where I am able to work alongside my family and best friends. We see over 2,000 pieces of small engine equipment every year, and answer 1,000's of small engine questions. We specialize in brands such as Briggs and Stratton, Kohler, Echo and Shindaiwa, but work everyday on MANY other brands like Stihl, Husqvarna, Honda, Craftsman, Remington, Red Max, Troy Bilt, Scag, Bad Boy, Hustler, World Lawn, Poulan, Mantis, Etc.. Hopefully, my experience I share, will save you Time, Money and Frustration in the future!

Try shoulder surgery. My husband had his rotator, bicep, and labrum operated on. At the same time he also broke the bone at the top if his arm. The part that looks like a ball. Luckily it was non displaced. Off work nine months. Miserable for almost two years. That was in 2016 and lost 10% range of motion and still in constant pain. But low enough that he can get by without any pain pills. But actually its slowly getting worse. He's now in his 60s.

Let me edit my comment so that those folks that don’t understand what I am saying will have a correct and better understanding . I forgot to write to the lowest common denominator. The comment was for her not yall anyway. Some people stop their regular business and go full KZbin only to discover it isn’t the full time job they wanted, they then shut down their KZbin content. Please don’t shut down the KZbin content even if you get discouraged or turned off by it. You are one of the few honest, helpful folks that I trust and I would hate to lose you on here. You and your husband are in our prayers. You for your new adventure and him for his surgery and full recovery. Hopefully this expanded comment will help other commenters to realize I know she will be making more content, that she is going full time KZbin and I am thankful for that. For those of y’all that got it the first time, thank you.

many hip problems as well as knee and ankle issues are from having duck feet. i spent the last year and a half slowly fixing my duck feet that was giving me serious pain on my inside hip area. to see if you have duck feet stand straight up with your feet together take 1 dozen or so steps looking straight ahead. stop walking and without moving your feet or legs look down at your feet. if your feet are pointing outward you have duck feet.

@@scottreynolds1984 You will have a better chance of getting an answer if you post this as your own comment rather than under someone else's. I'll give it a shot though. I assume you mean flywheel keys rather than a pin, but I am a truck mechanic not small engine so I have no idea what is out there in single cylinder land. Is the flywheel a tight fit on the shaft? If the key keeps breaking and the flywheel spins on the crank it could wear it so the flywheel is loose. That would break keys off very quickly with no load. Is the key the right size? Is the flywheel bolt the right length? If it bottoms out before the flywheel seats it would torque fine but the flywheel would be loose. Maybe missing a washer? There could be a crack in the flywheel bore. Is your torque wrench accurate?

Thanks Chickanic. My dad’s hip pain actually originated from stenosis in his spine. They were saying he might need a new hip. But his spine issue was more pressing. They did stenosis surgery on the nerve tunnels two spine vertebrae and after his surgeries, his hip problems went away! I’ve had two laser spine surgeries two months apart. It was outpatient surgery! Couldn’t walk going into the surgery. Then walked out of surgery three hours later.

I have enjoyed watching your videos for a while now and am sad to see that you have to endure this move. I have been involved in the moving of a warehouse twice and it is a royal PITA. The improvements after each of those moves were phenomenal and well worth the effort. Here's hoping that Ron's situation improves and you move along nicely from all of this!

Hi Bre. I have been watching from Canada for quite some time now, and have learned so much. The biggest lesson is not to be intimidated by daunting repair tasks. It is all very logical when explained in an entertaining video. Good luck with all of your plans with family and work. Cheers.

Having been through a THR, I can give you and Ron one piece of advice. Get the anterior approach. You are walking the same day. Faster healing and less restrictions. I was back to work in 3 weeks, light duty of course, but 2 months out and I was back out riding my Harley.. Just stay positive and it'll all work out.Good luck and God bless.

Best wishes for your husband and his new hip. Your channel has been a GOTO since my first viewing years ago. I feel for you going through the move and the setup your going to to experience. From looking at your inventory it looks like you may/could use a second warehouse just for completed or equipment in need of repair. Good luck to you, wishing you and your husband nothing but the best. Really looking forward to your future shows.
